“Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” after fourteen years and twenty seasons will be ending with the final season airing in 2021.
This show helped make Kim Kardashian and her siblings Khloé, Kourtney, Kendal, and Kylie household names. It also launched their careers in the beauty and fashion business.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is ending
Last night, Kim Kardashian announced in a lengthy statement on Instagram that they are done with the show. It really is the end of an era. You may love them or not, but they are part of our lives. We got to see their lives, their ups and downs (and their scandals) for 14 years. That’s a lot!
The decision to end their show was made by the Kardashian-Jenner family. Their reasons for ending the show are still unclear, but E! said in a statement that it respects the Kardashian-Jenner family’s decision to live their lives without their cameras.
The family, of course, thanked the network. The monumental show about the empowered family defined the network as a destination beyond entertainment news. Over the years, the unscripted series, E! changed into a place for hit reality programming. However, in more recent years, KUWTK delved into scripted content.
Family members have been losing interest in the show
In the last years some of the siblings, most recently Kourtney Kardashian, have been reluctant to film the reality show. She made clear that she doesn’t want to be a member of the series anymore, saying that the show has become a toxic environment for her.
Kim Kardashian has also endured a stormy year with Kanye West’s controversial presidential run and mental health battle putting a big strain on their marriage.
Rob, the only brother, used to be a regular on the show, but his appearance has become rarer since season seven. He appeared in only 94 of more than 200 episodes.
‘KUWTK’ has been a huge hit globally
The reality show debuted in 2007 and turned the family into international superstars with a multimedia empire complete with apps, cosmetic companies, clothing lines, and constant tabloid interest. When the reality show hit the air, this family was best (and only) known for Kardashian-West’s sex tape. This brought worldwide attention to the socialite Kim Kardashian, who was previously just Paris Hilton’s assistant. Now, Kardashian-West is one of the most popular faces in the world.

Meanwhile, Kylie and Kendall Jenner were kids when the reality show started airing. Today, they are the most lucrative and powerful influencers on the globe.
A when the show premiered, Kris Jenner, now known as one of the canniest businesswomen in this industry, was known as the ex-wife of O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian. Her spouse, Bruce Jenner, or now known as Caitlyn Jenner, ended up starring in her E! spin-off, “I Am Cait”. The spin-off documented Bruce’s transition into a transgender woman.
Throughout all these years, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” chronicled important events in the professional and personal lives of the family, including Kim’s marriages to Kris Humphries and Kanye, a robbery in Paris, the break-up of Khloé’s marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom, and many, many other events.
We think the drama always follows this family. We are excited to see what they will do next!
